This is Bernie, a 1966 Bronco that has become part of the family here at Full Throttle Restoration & Repair.

Over the years, Bernie has evolved through countless refinements, upgrades, repairs, fabrication, tuning sessions, and detail work to become the Bronco he is today.

One of the biggest upgrades was removing a problematic FiTech system and replacing it with a Holley Sniper 2 setup before sending Bernie to Rick at for professional tuning and calibration. The result was smoother acceleration, improved throttle response, reliable cold starts, and power that finally matched the build.

We also built out a full custom stainless exhaust system featuring 304 stainless headers, an X-crossover, JMD Tube mufflers, and resonators that gave Bernie an aggressive but refined sound.

Inside, Bernie received RTX gauges, upgraded audio equipment, USB integration, and numerous interior refinements.

Mechanically, the truck has seen steering upgrades, a billet CVF serpentine system, cooling upgrades, transmission and converter improvements, valvetrain upgrades, custom wiring work, axle and transfer case repairs, and countless hours of fabrication and tuning.

Bernie was built to be driven, refined, and enjoyed—not hidden away. Projects be like this are why we love what we do.

Make sure you follow for more bad ass builds 🤘

1965 Mustang | 427 V8 | T56 | Custom Equal-Length Headers

This build became far more than an engine swap. We transformed this Mustang into a carbureted street-performance package putting down 502 horsepower to the wheels while retaining the raw personality that makes old-school muscle cars what they are.

The customer-supplied small block 427 was paired with a T56 manual transmission, CVF Racing accessory drive, MSD 6AL ignition, Moroso dual sump oiling system, Vintage Air SureFit A/C, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, SPAL Extreme Performance fans, and a Carter 200 GPH fuel system.

A huge part of this build started with a one-off set of truly equal-length custom headers that we fabricated from scratch. From there we hand-built a TIG welded and argon back-purged 304 stainless exhaust featuring V-bands, flex couplers, X-pipe crossover, resonators, and rear-mounted mufflers for performance, sound, symmetry, and serviceability.

Custom electrical integration, fuel and brake hardlines, battery relocation, custom chassis reinforcement, suspension refinement, and countless fabrication details tied everything together.

This is just the opening act, the after is gonna be nuts for this 1966 Chevy Nova.

This 302-powered 1977 Bronco came to the shop for a serious performance refresh. We fabricated a custom 304 stainless exhaust, installed a Holley Sniper EFI with HyperSpark ignition, and dialed it in on the dyno — plus a few aesthetic touches to finish it off.

The payoff? A 35% increase in power from the stock motor.

From routine maintenance, to performance upgrades, to full-blown high horsepower builds… if it’s American muscle cars or trucks, we’ve got you covered.
