He’s the first one everyone calls when something won’t start, when a motor needs to be dropped in, or when a project feels impossible. He shows up every time, tools in hand, doesn’t ask for anything, just gets to work. Long nights in other people’s garages, helping bring their builds back to life while his own truck sits waiting.

Weekends turn into favors, favors turn into months, and somehow his project never comes first. He watches other trucks fire up for the first time, take their first drive, roll out complete. He claps, smiles, and heads home.

Then it’s quiet.

Late at night, it’s just him, the shop, and his truck sitting there half done. No crowd, no cameras, no help. Just determination and unfinished work. Piece by piece, he keeps going.

Because the truth is, the guy who helps everyone else build theirs isn’t looking for credit. He just hasn’t had his moment yet.
