Rotors with light scoring can sometimes be resurfaced if enough material remains. But rotors below minimum thickness must be replaced. And in many cases the cost difference between resurfacing and replacing is small.

This vs. That: Cooling System Flush vs. Top-Off

Topping off adds volume but does not remove depleted additives or internal corrosion buildup. A full flush drains, cleans, and refills the entire system with fresh coolant and inhibitor protection.

A top-off is a temporary fix. A flush is actual maintenance.

Rotation extends tire life by evening out wear across all four positions. But once tread depth is below 2/32 inch, or tires show cracking or sidewall damage, rotation cannot fix what is already worn.

Regular rotation is inexpensive. Premature replacement is not.
