Great Salt Lake HOG Chapter Riding Club The Great Salt Lake Chapter of the Harley Owner's Group has several family oriented events each month of the riding season.

Wednesday evening dinner rides, Saturday or Sunday rides, dealer events with VIP privileges, long day rides, short day rides, over-night events, just to name a few... and so much more. In the midst of all of this, we enjoy doing fund-raisers for charities that benefit children. One of our favorites is the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). You will make good friends and have good times as you ride your Harley-Davidson with like-minded motorcycle enthusiasts.

GSL HOG Chapter Dinner Ride - October 14th
We went to the Garage Grill in Herriman. We left SVHD with 2 bikes and 3 people. Thirteen people met us at the Garage Grill for a total of 16 people for dinner. Another fun night with our HOG Chapter Family. 😍

GSL HOG Chapter October, Saturday Ride - October 10th
Bob led the ride. We left SVHD with 6 bikes and 7 people. We had clouds, blue sky, sun, wind, and some rain. The rain came at the end of the ride. We rode Johnson Pass to the Fisher Pass Monument. Fred met us in Grantsville. We changed the route up a little bit. After leaving Fisher Pass, we decided to skip Eureka and went to The Break in Saratoga Springs for lunch. It was a good day. We managed to avoid the rain for most of the ride.

GSL HOG Chapter September, Sunday Ride and Picnic - September 27th
Ryan planned and led the ride. We left SVHD with 17 bikes and 20 people. It was a beautiful ride with all the fall colors. 🍁 🍂 The ride ended at the park in Bountiful for the picnic. 🌞 🍔 🌭 🍪 Another fun day with our HOG Chapter Family! 😍

GSL HOG Chapter - Fire Ride, September 12th
The 20th Annual Fire Ride took place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, to honor fallen firefighters and support the American Fallen Firefighters Memorial. The ride left South Valley Harley-Davidson after a morning breakfast. It was a fully police-escorted ride through Salt Lake and Davis counties. The ride ended at The Fallen Firefighter Memorial in downtown Ogden, followed by lunch at Golden Spike Harley-Davidson after the ceremony.
The GSL HOG Chapter helped out by working the registration tables. Thank you to the police Motor Squad Officers that led the ride! Thank you to all of the Firefighters that sacrifice so much for us! We went to Landmark Grill in Midvale. We left SVHD with 6 bikes and 8 people. Eleven people met us at Landmark Grill for a total of 19 people for dinner. Another fun night with our HOG Chapter Family! 😍

The GSL HOG Chapter will be working the registration table for the Fire Ride. Registration is from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. The Chapter will also have a table set up for people to stop by and talk to some of the Officers or Members of the Chapter. You can learn about what we do as a Chapter and sign up if you would like to join us. We hope to see you there. Come out and support the Fire Ride.

Idaho Falls to Home
Some people left and headed home on Sunday and the rest of us left on Monday. Some of the group took the freeway home. They went in two separate groups. The first group had 2 bikes and 4 people. The second group had 3 bikes and 3 people. Keith's group had 4 bikes and 5 people. We took a road we have never taken before in Idaho. It was another nice ride.
