We did it! And when I say "WE" I really mean it. Running a race car takes a village. Not just in crew members but in moral support from friends, tech support from companies, and product support from vendors and manufactures.

Last weekend went almost flawless from start to finish besides the money lost in Mesquite on our way to the Locked In series at Famoso Raceway.

On Friday we made our first test pass at 9pm just as the track was cooling down and the prep was on point. That first hit knocked the tires off but immediately planted them right after and went fast out the back. After watching killer starting line videos from Skye Williams we were able to tell that the front shocks were too tight and with a 3/4 turn of the front shocks we went 1.07 to the 60 on the very next pass.
After that we consulted Kevin Wilson we made a slight shock change and the rest of the weekend we could have bracket raced as we printed 1.06-1.08 60' times all weekend.
We also printed a new radial/ small tire PB time slip.
Revolutionary Racing and Chassis was up late answering questions on the tune up as we made our way to the finals. Nickolas Damron and Travis Ellis have put a lot of time in this car to make it kick ass.

Thanks to Jordan Hillis for building the coolest 4 link brackets on the planet. They have been a game changer for this car.

We managed to pull off the win at The Locked In series at Famoso! Bringing home a trophy and a little bit of cash!

Thank you to everyone that has contributed, supported, cheered us on and watched as we get the car a little faster each time we go out.

Final prep under way for the Locked in series in Bakersfield at the end of the month! Going to see if we have what it takes to represent Utah against all the badass California cars. We're playing on radials again with some super trick changes to the suspension. Wish us luck as we try to bring home the W for Utah!

We ventured out to Bakersfield to a private rental at Famosa. The track was extremely hot and took several hours to cool down to where the prep started doing it's job. After moving all the dials the wrong direction to make the car work on the hot track, we were able to go the other direction and make some progress on the new suspension and the radial tires. The car isn't quite where we need it to be, but definitely headed in the right direction.

New 4 link and rear end for the Fairlane. This will give us a bunch more suspension tuning options to get a handle on small tire as well as radial stuff. Hoping to test it all out later this month in Famosa.

Sometimes it's the smallest things that cost you the race. I knew when I did my burnout that something wasn't quite right, but I decided to send it any way. After a great 60' time the car laid over and was missing over 20 mph on the big end. After reviewing data it was obvious that #7 was dead. Our minds instantly assumed a broken rocker or worse. Luckily it was just a burnt boot. The MSD coils have so much energy that the voltage needed to make it's own path and decided it didn't want to ignite the fuel.
