Good Morning 50’s Fans… many of you will know this wonderful lady and most will not… She never missed a 50’s and was part of us in ways that no one could know… when we say it takes a village that’s what it takes in so many ways… she has left this world of ours but we carry her with us always! This was ( I think and fairly sure this is when she turned 90 …her birthday is around our event ). This is a friend with the spirit of 50’s and Rocky and the Rollers were her faves!

Sorry for the delay of this announcement …but never fear we are still here…39th Annual Lost in the 50’s May 15th-16th…Friday is reunion night…we are going to take you through years of music from all the years of original guest artists…you may get to win free T-shirts no one else will have because you have to go Friday to get them…maybe some other goodies for prizes as well( how many years of music can you remember…come and enjoy our night with Rocky and the boys…this will be a fun night of memories and music!!! Then Saturday “Mr. Chubby Checker and the Wildcats”…he is a Rock n Roll Hall of fame Icon with 36 hit records and the first artist to have a single to go to #1 twice… Dick Clark had said that: “the three most important things that ever happened in the music industry are Elvis, the Beatles and Chubby Checker!” For sure they made the way for many!!!

If there are any questions….
The Parade route is the same as it has been for YEARS…no changes there! The shows at the fairgrounds are going to be awesome and yes they are “inside” in the main building …doors open @6:30 and shows @7:30 must be 21 because yes we have alcohol…. Just if this part you should know you can not register online or buy tickets online …as of now because “WE CANT GET EVERYTHING OFF THERE IN TIME FOR THE ALL THE PAPER WORK”
However you can still do all of these things …registration still happens the morning at the car show!!!
Tickets for the Music can be purchased at the doors either night …for Saturday they will also be selling Those at the registration booth … And if you haven’t picked up your tickets for the shows…they will be at the door waiting for you…

I’d like to give the city a big shout out…I kindly ask them to grate the alley… because of major potholes that I wanted to get grated so when all of our show cars come and go this weekend they wouldn’t scrape bottom etc! So From Second Avenue Pizza and the Hydra Restaurant… Thank You from Us and our Lost in the 50’s guests coming into town!!! You are all Rock Stars!!!!

This is a first show and tell of the real event shirt… we hope you’ll love it and hoping you’ll take a piece of us on the rest if your summer cruzin’ season… we haven’t got them yet but they’re close…only days away guys get your tickets for two great shows at the fairgrounds and with all sorts of traffic being added to our town…be safe and patient and ENJOY!!!!!🎶♥️🎶

Our Community is losing some of our true giving people who helped mold Sandpoint in so many ways that most people would never know the scope of their accomplishments and what all they gave…Ernie Belwood was our first Spirit of Sandpoint and his celebration of life is on Saturday and since it is 50’s weekend “we can only be there in spirit ourselves “ God Speed to one of the Best”… your memory will last just like a great Rock n Roll song!
