The 65 mustang is headed home. A real deal A code GT code 4spd, disc brake car with the deluxe 2+2 pony interior . After sitting in storage for approx 12 years. it goes without saying It was in need of some major repairs and maintenance from its long hibernation. We were able to get her back to her glory and add some creature comforts as well as a front to back mechanical and drivetrain overhaul.
Repairs upgrades included.
* Clean and repaint of the engine bay and sheet metal behind all the painted grille parts.
* Engine rebuild/reseal with a few repairs internally and finished in fresh correct for 1965 gloss black yellow zinc pan and brass core plugs.
* Brand new tremec t5 conversion with hydraulic clutch
* Fitech fuel injection. efi ready fuel tank, an all new plumbing
* Vintage air gen 5 sure fit a/c system
* New center console and other misc interior repairs
*Seat belts front and rear
*Complete over haul of the suspension and brakes system.
*Adjustable engine mounts for the perfect fit with the new trans.
*New stainless tri y headers
* One wire 100 amp alternator all new battery cables power feeds, starter, solendoid, everything electrical under hood new and isolated to relays to not pull of the interior/factory harness.
* Reupholstered rear seat cushion with belt thru holes sewn in.
* A custom bypass security feature as well as a nss which these cars never had from the factory.

The list goes on and on finished off with a full buff and detail for delivery back to the customer.

People that know me personally know this one was hard to let go haha. Esp after drives and shake downs.. such a beautiful car.

We've been slacking on shows this year.. 😔 but!! We're making an appearance at the 3rd annual Pop's Clam Shell cars show in alton bay! Sat August 1st. The wait is over and I can finally spill the beans... Lucky Devil Customs is leveling up in a big way with some serious talent!!!
Please help me in welcoming Joe Hebert (Joe Hebert) to the Lucky Devil team!!! Joe and I worked together in the past where we built a great friendship based on shared interests, mutual respect for each other's abilities and a common passion for the industry. Although it has been some time since we worked side by side we have continued to reach out to one another for advice, opinions or to just share photos of the cool things we've been building. With 20 years experience as a welder/fabricator and machinist and over 10 years as a car builder the skill set and creative vision that he brings will prove to be a huge asset to the shop. He has spent the last 5 years in a leadership role at a very well known and reputable restoration shop in Dover NH and has been the creative mind and talent behind multiple high end builds with a recent award winning F100 build that was unveiled at this year's F100 nationals in Tennessee. I can't wait to see where the shop goes from here and I know that the addition of Joe will not only allow for an increase in capacity for the shop and our customers but also allows for a wider range of capabilities. So welcome aboard brother and in Your words "let's build some cool s**t"

Mike brought in his 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner powered by a fresh 451ci stroker (570/525 at the crank 😎) for a few concerns, and a full check over so he can be confident in the car. We addressed a couple of small leaks, rebuilt his steering system with a freshly overhauled box coupler, new lares fast ratio steering gear and factory style replacement hoses. Pulled the headers due to a blown out gaskets, installed new remflex gaskets with stage 8 locking bolts to prevent future issues iykyk. A new heater control valve, brake hose, some realignment to the exhaust and tips, adjusted the choke so it actually does something.. replaced the operating levers and linkage with some new pieces from brewers Mopar to remove play and notchiness from the old 4spd. Some other minor adjustments and corrections and on order we have a new 3.73 center section with a sure grip locker and sealed axle bearing upgrade from our buddies Quick Performance we will see this one back in a few weeks to install the rear end and discuss possible upgrades for suspension aswell as a fresh wheel and tire package to dial in the stance and fitment. Topped off with a complimentary wash and hand dry so she's ready to hit the streets.

This car is now truly one of a kind. 1973 AMC Javelin AMX Pierre cardin. One of approx 1420 javelins produced with a 401 and amx package. When you add in the optional Pierre cardin trim that number drops into the double digit range with an approximate 15 still out there. This car was a very nice example when it came in. However it was in need of some repairs as well as restoration and upgrades.
The numbers matching 401 was in need of a refresh.aswell as trans issues and list of items that either were deleted over the years or inop.
Engine stripped down to the block completely gone thru resealed, repainted in factory AMC blue metallic every nut and bolt replaced. Valve train was upgraded with harland sharp roller rockers dressed up billet pulleys Edelbrock finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner lid, power Master 1 wire alternator Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators aluminum rad with dual electric fans, reinstalled factory power steering with a borgeson quick ratio box Transmission rebuilt and case redone in aluminum cast blast. Converted to EFI using an Holley Performance Brands sniper stealth 4150. With a hyperspark distributor and CD ignition for timing control.a fresh set of ceramic coated long tubes with stage 8 nickel plated locking hardware, new fuel tank, straps and sender. The factory gauges were restored and now operational , tic toc tach was rebuilt with a new circuit board for the CD ignition and the clock was converted to quartz, a new lense and printed circuit. We hunted down the console and installed a custom 3d printed shifter handle, aswell as a factory radio. Custom mount for the EFI handheld. Some paint repairs due to brake fluid leak in engine bay. Led headlights with switch backs, new hood release the list goes on and on. All topped off with a full buff/wax and interior detail.
This car was a pleasure to work and the owner one of my best and most loyal customers, as always was nothing sort of great to work with allowing the job to be done right and giving me creative freedom to build the car the way I wanted. set to head home. This 1972 GTO came in as a basket case. After another shop attempted to swap a 6.0.. they failed miserably, managed to seize the Engine after completely hacking the installation. From missing parts, an unregulated and unfiltered fuel system, wires twisted together, tech screws for days, bypassed trans cooler lines the list goes on.. she's finally right and ready for the road. with a proper, low mile ls1, billet accessory drive brackets, all oem c5 Corvette accessories. Ceramic long tubes, stainless with race pro mufflers and x pipe, new fuel tank with internal pump, c5 regulator, AN trans cooler lines with external 15k gvw cooler. New brakes, master,booster, swap radiator with dual hi/to speed fans. shifter. A proper conversion harness and PCM calibrated to run the 4l80e from our buds over at and so he's got some heat and defrost for those cold mornings a custom installed hot rod heater box.
