Back after the holiday and getting right back after it!

We have a 2016 Polaris RZR XP Turbo is getting a serious refresh with an updated engine package loaded with upgraded internals from RPM along with a big water-cooled upgraded turbo setup, upgraded fuel system, and tuning from Aftermarket Assassins.

Finishing it off with Trinity Racing exhaust, charge tubing, and more to build a reliable setup that can handle the power the right way.

We’re also adding a full shock service and custom tune package from MTS Off-Road to make sure the suspension performs just as hard as the drivetrain.

And after break in we will top it all off with AMSOIL INC. fluids 🤘

No shortcuts. No budget-bin parts. Just proven components, proper tuning, and builds meant to be driven hard. 👊🔥

No video editing. No fancy stuff. This is our shop on a quiet Friday night. Usually I can’t stand it when there isn’t noise in here but when the tools get set down for the weekend it’s a breath of fresh air.

Our shop is filled because of God, our employees, and our reputation. Every week gets bigger and better around here!

In our spare time here at RPM, we have been doing some R&D. We wanted to find out how much horse power a 2015 Polaris RZR 1k stock engine could handle!

We started by rebuilding the existing, low compression engine. Knowing this engine would be pushed to the limit and probably detonated, we built the engine out of used rzr parts to save some cost.

After rebuilding the engine, it was time to install a turbo! This rzr originally had an Aerocharger turbo kit on it which failed, so Force Turbos hooked us up with new turbo kit and tuning.

The results:
120 rwhp on 12 # of boost
167 rwhp on nitrous

A stock 2015 RZR 1k makes 79 rwhp so this was a dramatic increase! We are guessing it made 208 hp at the crank.

Thank you for hosting this dyno event and thank you for wearing an open face helmet while spraying nitrous into the intake.
.. an engine was hurt in the making of this video. A piston rod exited the crankcase the following day.

At RPM all of our engines are assembled using OEM and upgraded aftermarket parts. Vertex, Hot Rods, Kibble White, and Cylinder Works are few of the brands we use. If you are in the market for a rebuilt engine, make sure you do your research and identify what parts are being used on your build!
