Timeline of the PA Rut;
Pre-Rut / Seeking Phase (Late October): Starts around October 30, with bucks beginning to roam, make scrapes, and search for early does.
Chasing Phase (Early November): Runs from roughly November 6 to November 13, showing high levels of movement and active chasing.
Peak Breeding (Mid-November): Centers around November 13 to November 17, when the vast majority of adult does are bred.
Secondary Rut (Late November – Early December): A smaller window occurs for fawns and unbred does, wrapping up by early December.
