Bad day? Insurance gotta’ pay.💰
These are rare times. Because of supply chain issues the prices of cars have skyrocketed as inventory has diminished. This has had two positive effects when using insurance for your repairs. Because of the price hike, many repairs that would have been total losses are being approved. Also, some insurance companies are being forced to pay out claims that are worth more than the original purchase price of the vehicle. All depends on the repair but it’s great news for drivers.⁣⁣⁣

Progress on a 1969 Triumph TR6. Although we still have quite a bit of work to do the beginning stages are complete. This vehicle arrived with a significant amount of body damage and needed it’s frame pulled and a realignment of the rear fenders. Now that that process is complete it will move on to body work and then paint. We’re excited to do the restoration on this English made classic. We’ll keep you updated.

Uh-oh. Engine misfiring? Check engine light on? This could be your issue.

Our client came in with those very symptoms. Upon further inspection we discovered oil on this spark plug. This usually occurs when the valve cover gasket and/or spark plugs seals need to be replaced. If the gaskets aren’t doing their job, oil can get onto your spark plugs preventing ignition and causing misfires in your engine. Usually we can fix this in one day and get you back on the road. Visit us today to diagnose your vehicle’s issues. Our diagnostic service is only $115 and we waive it if we end up doing the work.

He often attends TR6 meetups with other owners. Unfortunately, at one of these meetups, his front bumper assembly was damaged, so he brought it to us to repair and refinish.
