Hummbug ready for its battery upgrade! The 5 Tesla modules I am going to put in should get me 25 kwh of storage and 60 miles of range. A big upgrade from its previous 8 kwh and 20 miles of range! Stay tuned for updates.

Timelapse of charging the hummbug. See that top battery module is slower to charge? That is because it has more capacity than the others. Don't mix battery capacities in your packs!

One of these things is not like the other! I finally ran out of the 4s3p e-golf battery packs of the LG variety and had to use my Samsung pack. It seems to be compatible, although I'm not 100% sure. It was much easier to attach balance leads for the BMS than the orange top LG's. I'm topping off the new module and i'll do range testing tomorrow.

This just has to last me until I finish the LG "Super Cell" pack from EV West
