There's a specific kind of friendship that produces a photo like this.

The kind where you've watched each other's kids grow up. The kind where you've talked about doing this exact thing at every birthday, every reunion, every "we should plan something" group text for the last decade.

And then one day, somebody actually books it.

For 15 years, Longhorn Racing Academy has been the place Texas friend groups come when they finally stop saying "someday." Harris Hill runs year-round. Big Retail Days at COTA happen every few months. The cars are real. The instructor is in the seat next to you. The memory belongs to you and whoever you bring with you.

The 30 seconds before you launch out of pit lane.

Heart rate climbs. Helmet's on. Your instructor is riding shotgun. The Ferrari is idling underneath you and your only job is to not think about how much it's worth.

Then you go.

This is what we do. We've spent 15 years turning everyday Texans into people who can say "yeah, I drove a Ferrari at COTA." Big Retail Days at Circuit of the Americas, year-round access at Harris Hill, and an instructor next to you the entire time.

Our next Big Retail Day at COTA is May 22nd. 2026 is the last year COTA is open to the public before it goes private in 2027.

Today's the day for flowers, brunch, and "thanks for everything." But if you really want to give her something she'll talk about for years. Our track day at COTA is May 22nd.

Twelve days from now, she could be behind the wheel of a Ferrari on the only Formula 1 track in the country. 15 years. Perfect safety record. Family-friendly. Easier than she thinks.

There's something about doing a thing like this with someone who gets it. The look you give each other in the pit lane. The story you replay together for years afterward.

For 15 years we've been hosting everything from solo first-timers to mother-daughter days to friend group reunions. The cars are exotic. The track is COTA. The instructor is in the car with you. The memory is yours.
