Need EBC Brakes here in SLO?

EBC Yellowstuff Brake Pads are a high-friction aramid fiber compound designed for fast street driving, heavy-duty use in trucks and SUVs, and light-duty track racing. This versatile compound offers excellent stopping power and fade resistance for performance-oriented drivers.

VERSATILE PERFORMANCE:

Works from cold: Unlike traditional race pads, Yellowstuff offers strong initial braking power from the first touch of the pedal, making them safe and effective for daily highway use.

High-temperature resistance: The pads become even stronger as they heat up during aggressive driving, providing zero fade under heavy braking. This makes them suitable for higher horsepower cars, towing, and hauling.

Track-capable for light use: While primarily a fast street pad, Yellowstuff can be used for shorter duration track days on lighter cars. However, for more frequent or intense track use, EBC recommends their Bluestuff compound, which offers a faster bed-in process.

CONSTRUCTION AND FEATURES:

Aramid fiber compound: Yellowstuff pads are made with an aramid fiber material, known for its heat resistance and use in bulletproof vests.

Brake-Inâ„¢ coating: A distinctive red surface coating accelerates the pad bed-in process, ensuring safe braking immediately after installation.

Noise and wear control: The pads feature chamfered edges and center-line slots to reduce noise and vibration and help keep the rotor and pads clean. The Nucap NRS hooks on the backplates also prevent the friction material from delaminating.

CONSIDERATIONS:

Dust levels: Yellowstuff is not a low-dust pad and will produce more dust than EBC's Redstuff compound. The dust level is comparable to or slightly higher than OEM pads.

Track use bed-in: While street driving naturally beds the pads over 100–200 miles, track use requires a longer bed-in procedure. For drivers heading directly to the track, Bluestuff is the faster-bedding alternative.

Best for specific uses: The pad's versatility makes it a suitable upgrade for a wide range of vehicles, including fast street cars, SUVs, and trucks with oversized tires. However, dedicated track enthusiasts may find other compounds like EBC's Bluestuff or RP series to be more fitting.
