Carol drove her Ford to Leale’s Auto Repair in San Jose and asked Lyle if a very loud knocking engine noise was a serious and expensive problem to repair. After Lyle and his mechanic diagnosed the Escape Engine they knew it needed to be replaced or rebuilt.

Leale’s Auto Repair has a technician who’s been working for Leale’s for over 15 years. His name is Ann. It is said that he can tear down and rebuild just about anything that comes into the shop. And Lyle knew they could rebuild the Ford Escape engine for less than what other shops would charge.

Other than the engine, Carol’s Escape was in mint condition.

On a job like this there is a great deal of parts and many process to manage efficiently. In less than two weeks Carol drove away with a virtually new engine and many many miles of worry free driving to look forward to.

Tammy called Leale’s Automotive and said her 2005 Mercedes C240 really needed a brake job asap. Lyle knew he and his techs could take good care of Tammy’s Mercedes and asked her to bring it to the auto shop right then. After Tammy checked in she was given a ride home. The crew immediately got to work. After a safety inspection the parts were ordered and the techs prepared Tammy’s Mercedes for the brake job.

The brake job was completed on time and the test drive proved that everything was working perfectly. They drove her Mercedes to her house, picked her up and returned to the shop. Tammy was totally delighted with the fair price and outstanding customer service. She was able to make an important meeting far across town and on time. Automotive Repair Mechanics installing new auto parts to repair automobiles that are now totally managed by computers has been a job that only dealerships can do, until now. The auto mechanics at Leale's automotive repair in San Jose have are trained and have been using computer scanners to do the very same diagnosis and reprogramming of new auto parts that the dealerships have been doing, but for much less & faster!

A San Jose auto repair shop said Chevy Malibu needed new/used engine for 3k, but Leale's assembles the engine for $1,000 with new head gaskets and it runs great! The owner towed his 03' Chevy to Leale's Auto Repair in San Jose with the disabled engine in the trunk. The Chevy engine had 130k miles, heads and engine parts were good except one head gasket. The Chevy Malibu and the owner were back on the road in 2 days.

Other Shops Say Honda Accord Needed a Rebuilt Transmission For $1,500 when the problem Was A Bad Rear Wheel Bearing Costing Only $250 to Repair. The 03' Honda Accord had a real loud whining sound when driving, but it shifted ok. Volvo needs auto repair, owner says just replace leaky radiator cap, but allows recommended pressure test,avoids engine rebuild in San Jose. Gas and diesel engine coolant leaks can be found in multiple places, often, one at a time. Typically, the troubled cooling circuit will leak only from the weakest component. The next leak was a water pump, its timing belt was about to break and destroy the engine. Great Job!

San Jose dealer says to replace the auto transmission, but Leale's Transmissions found the Electronic Fan Clutch stuck on which created a constant howling sound from under the hood. The transmission was perfect, but the wiring leading up the radiator to its electronic fan clutch was damaged and shorted the connection keeping the fan clutch engage. This is a fairly common problem in a variety of vehicles

Volvo auto repair in San Jose 60k mi tune-up costs $1k at dealer, but Leale's is half the price depending on what the car needs after inspection. Standard price index for auto repair at San Jose dealerships pays for their high overhead, but is not best for the customer. Vehicles have factory recommended intervals of inspections & service. Our inspections are free and if a part is in great shape it's not replace.
