The United Lowrider Council of San Jose would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and members of Firme Classics Car Club on the passing of their President, Firme Joe.

Our thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved him during this difficult time. His presence in the lowrider community will be greatly missed.

LOWRIDER COMMUNITY, YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED. 🚘🌳

The Hellyer County Park Master Plan survey is now live, and this is another opportunity for our community to speak up about what we want to see in our County Parks.

When filling out the survey, please consider asking for:

• Larger reservable areas for car clubs and large family BBQs
• Parking that can accommodate larger groups of vehicles
• Space for lowrider shows and community events
• Family-friendly cultural programming and gatherings

Not sure what to write? Here’s an example:

“I would like to see Hellyer County Park include larger reservable areas with enough parking for car clubs, lowrider gatherings, family BBQs and community events. Lowrider events bring families and generations together while celebrating an important part of San Jose and Santa Clara County culture.”

Every response helps show that there is real community interest in creating spaces where these events can continue to grow.
