Showing off the hard work that’s going in to this build!
This 240 watt panel is about to start putting in work, but we have a few things to tend to to make that happen. First up today I’ll start tackling the wiring to power our dc to dc/solar inverter I also got from . It’s an all in one unit that keeps this secondary of mine charged all day long whether I’m driving or parked!
The sleek look of this panel and the fact that it fits perfectly on my cap are what sold me on it and I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made! Initially the plan was to just mount the panel to the top of my EXP cap, but since they tossed in their new Mesa Roof Rack I had to i@provide another solution to get the benefit I wanted of a functional rack and solar setup. I think we’re achieving the goal and I’m looking forward to adding in the Links2 system, the crown jewel of controllers from to have everything at the touch of a screen!
Still going strong and plugging away at all these projects before our big trip to Yellowstone in July so wish me luck. Next task is to wire all this in and add some fuse blocks to protect my electrical systems. Looking forward to getting another step closer to having everything dialed in to my liking!
