The Man, The Myth, The Legend, Nate with Ability Marine Services Inc. Is dialing in our new Suzuki 150s.
The best thing with nate other than he is top shelf when it comes to being a mechanic, is , he says what he does and does what he says. On time, the first time.
We have a policy of not recommending mechanics due to our line of work.
Ability Marine is the exception.

We got the new Suzukis hung in the heat today. The boat is currently working a job that requires a shade cover over the back deck. Lucky we had an almost brand new one from a boat demo we did earlier this year. It has really helped working in the hot weather.
Tomorrow we will finish installing the new dash with digital gauges and electronic shifters, before the guys from Ability Marine Services Inc. come and dial it in for us.

After a 2000 mile haul and an all nighter transferring to our trailer the Moose boat is finally here. Now the work starts.
Other than some road grime and a billion dead bugs on front side she is no worse for the wear.
It’s gonna be a challenge to get her ready to tow in 30 days with our summer in full swing towing and the heatwave we’re having with no end in sight. But our crew is up for the challenge.

Our weekend re power is underway.
We are switching out our Honda 135s with Suzuki 150s. We will be burning the midnight oil to have her ready for Ability Marine Services Inc. To sync them and do our startup before she goes to work Tuesday.

Our newest boat to our expanding fleet is officially on a truck and on its way.
Our newest long range TowBoatUS response vessel will arrive next week.
We have a planned 30 day work schedule to get her in action.
We’re still working on the new name but our TowboaUS response vessel is a 32’ Moose boat catamaran with a beam of nearly 14’. She will provide long range capabilities for our boaters in need chasing BlueFin offshore. With a top speed projected to be in the mid to upper 30knot range, she will add to our fast response fleet.
Twin Cummins diesel will produce 900HP in front of two Hamilton Jet drive.
The Jet drives will give he unparalleled maneuverability and insane pulling power. Although we are not in the fire fighting business she will have two water cannons. We are converting the third water pump into an emergency dewatering system to be able to rapidly deploy when on scene with a vessel taking on water.
We want to give shout out to Morgan Marine and especially Ben and Connie for giving us the opportunity to own such a beast of a boat.
We will post more pictures of the retrofit and her in action as soon as we get them.

Captain Casey and Curry were returning from moving a 120’ vessel and got in a great picture of yet another beautiful night in San Diego.
