Two years ago today a category 5 hurricane blew us out of our life. The days and weeks and months that followed were the darkest I have ever experienced. If you would’ve asked me even one year ago if I thought I could ever experience a similar level of happiness that I did on St. John I would’ve said probably not. But San Diego is the answer to so many prayers. Life throws a lot at us, and in the end, I’ve decided all we have is today and all we can control is how we treat others, how we show up in this world, how much love and kindness we exude. Life is beautiful, and so is this magical place we’ve found to call home 💙
