🛥️⛵ Sail Care – Keep your boat in shape!
To enjoy your sails for years to come, we provide you today with these simple care tips:

🔹 Rinse off saltwater: After every trip, rinse your sails thoroughly with fresh water. Salt deposits can damage the fabric and make it brittle.

🔹 Let them dry: Make sure your sails dry in a shaded area. Moisture can lead to mold and mildew.

🔹 Store properly: Always store your sails clean and dry. A sail bag or a dry, ventilated space is ideal.

🔹 Protect from UV: The sun is your sails’ biggest enemy! Use a UV protection cover or furl them away when not in use.

🔹 Fix damages promptly: Address small issues like holes or loose stitching immediately. It prevents bigger problems down the line.

🔹 Inspect regularly: Check seams, ropes, and fittings for wear and tear to ensure everything is in working order.

This is what sailing also looks like. It's not always sunny and has perfect conditions 🌊Sometimes you have to work hard - but for sailors it doubles the fun! 😄 This is our BAVARIA C38 in the Baltic Sea in the middle of November when it was freezing cold, foggy and the sea was quite rough ❄️
