This is why you pay for a diagnostic. This was a 2005 ford focus. Transmission wasn’t shifting into gear. No codes or anything just stopped shifting. It ended up being the linkage cable bushing that broke from old age. The gear box would shift into the different gears but the transmission would not go into gear. Parts changers just change parts until the problem is fixed. Mechanics find the problem and fix the problem. The diagnostic paid for itself and the customer actually saved money paying for a diagnostic rather than just paying for a complete assembly to be replaced.

Excited to have a repeat customer Jose Velazquez working on his beautiful 96 e320 Benz. With 241k miles I examined the engine a while back and found it to be extremely well taken care of. Put these brand new bug lights on that made his car look absolutely amazing and fixed his window regulator. The first of many projects to come on this car

O2 sensor code getting it ready for smog. O2 sensors monitor the oxygen in your car and help your car obtain the perfect fuel ratio of 14.7(air):1(fuel) you could see a check engine code and notice that you are using more gas. It’s because your car or truck is smart and automatically will try to compensate for either more air (lean condition) or more fuel (rich condition) in the system. So it’s important may not seem like much but if you have a check engine light address it right away.

Really enjoying learning about Subarus. I honestly have been so impressed with the engineering of Subaru because it was designed beautifully and simple to be able to swap out so many parts so easily. Very excited to keep growing. Im tginking about making subaru cars one of my main focus in mechanics because ive enjoyed them so much. now tike to fix this head gasket leak lol. got the new MLS impreza WRX head gasket to put on so we will fix that problem forever
