Check engine light on with a P0420 code? 🔧

That code means your catalytic converter isn’t cleaning the exhaust like it should. But before you replace it, make sure it’s actually the cat. A bad O2 sensor, an exhaust leak, or a misfire can set the same code.

Today we’re swapping the catalytic converter on a Honda accord. Before any repair, we:

✅ Properly diagnose before ordering parts
✅ Source a quality converter that meets CARB/emissions requirements
✅ Clea codes and verify system after the repair

Don’t ignore that check engine light. A failing cat can hurt fuel economy and performance, and it can cost you a smog check.

✅ Pull up close to a wall
✅ Switch on your headlights and look for two clear, bright beams
✅ Back up to the wall and test your rear lights too
✅ Cloudy or yellowed lenses? You don’t need to replace the whole headlight. A proper polish can restore them.

Dim headlights mean less visibility in rain, fog, and night driving. That’s a safety issue people!!! 🚗💡
