I have decided to add videos of the situation we are facing on the west side. Property taxes have increased by over 30-50% yet we cant provide sidewalks in many of these neighborhoods. We can spend $1million plus to restore a historic bar and across the street you see 50-100 homeless
people on a daily basis. We spend millions on trails such as the alazan, apache, martinez yet residents are scared to use them due to crime in this area. These people need help. They suffer from anxiety, depression, drug addiction. Setting up a hotel for them or having them go to Haven for Hope has obviously not worked. We need mental health facilities for these people. I have spoken to many of them and 1 common issue they all have is mental health issues. These videos I am sharing take place on a daily basis and nothing has been done. Our leaders have failed us.
