This C7 Stingray came in with a hurt motor. Upon teardown we found that it had a spun rod bearing. So the customer decided on a Texas Speed 416 stroker shortblock. We sent the stock heads out to TSP to get CNC ported, picked up the LTx WIKD stroker cam and all the supporting mods including Johnson drop in lifters, CHE Precision trunnions, Katech C5R timing chain, throttle body and oil pump, LT4 HPFP and injectors, Holley intake, and sealed in some Royal Purple break-in oil. Since the motor was already out, we checked out the torque tube bushings and they were completely destroyed. So we went with the Tick Performance solid couplers and a new bearing kit from Texas Drivetrain. We wanted to make sure we had plenty of fuel and cold IATs so we installed an AlkyControl m**h kit with a single nozzle for now. The car currently already had an A&A V3 blower, but in the future we are going to upgrade to a V7 YSI so we can push this car towards the 4 digit range. Boost is being held in with the help of a set of ARP head studs. We had to make a few custom things for this car, including the new charge pipe for the new hi-rise manifold. But since we cut the hood, we decided to give it a little flavor and added a Stingray bezel on the hood. This car is wrapped up, broken-in, and dyno'd, ready for the streets. Another happy customer 💪🏾
