I drive an EV because…

In our years as Utahs top EV dealer we’ve meet EV owners/drivers from just about every possible demographic. Each have their own reason as to why they choose to drive electric. One of the most shocking things to me is the perception that non-EV drivers have regarding EV owners. Many non-EV drivers feel that all EV owners are major environmentalists that do it to save earth. Truth is, EV drivers are just everyday people like you and me. Some drive electric because of gas mileage, some because of the environment, other because it’s more efficient, and some because of the insane speed (1.9 second 0-60 Tesla Model S), and now some are doing it for their health.

Living in Utah we are all should be concerned about air quality, and now the American Lung Association is recommending EV’s. Yet another great reason to skip the pump and make the switch to an EV.

Gas prices have many feeling a strain on their monthly budget. It seems as though the price of everything right now is skyrocketing and no one knows when it will stop.

Driving an electric vehicle (EV) can help stabilize the transportation cost of your budget. Electric rates are regulated by the public utilities commission and rarely see fluctuation, helping EV drivers plan financially without the fear of being gauged at the pump. In addition, Utah has one of the cheapest electric rates in the nation at an average of .1026 cents a kWh. In fact the entire intermountain west averages less than .11 cents per kWh and EV owners also save in maintenance costs, with no need for oil changes or filters, these savings quickly start adding up.

Buying a new EV can cost tens of thousands of dollars more than a comparable gas powered car. However, on the pre-owned market, EV’s and gasoline counterparts are usually priced the same. Quickly, the financial sense of buying and driving a quality pre-owned EV is beyond any doubt sound.

If you’re looking for a quality work environment with ethical business practices, then look no further. Closing time is 7pm Monday to Friday and 6pm Saturdays (we are always closed Sunday), schedule is flexible, and dress code is relaxed. We truly believe each employee is vital to our success and will treat you as family.

Pay is commission with a guaranteed base. Income potential is uncapped, but average should be expected to be around $4,000-$5,000 monthly.

The qualified candidate must have sales experience, basic computer knowledge, a professional demeanor, an enthusiasm for helping the customer, and a motivation to excel.

This role is primarily responsible for assisting customers from hello to good bye. As a full service dealership this individual will meet the customers, show the inventory, close the deal, obtain loan approval, sign documents, and deliver the car. Support is always provided during this process and we are looking for a dedicated individual.

For an experienced car salesman this will be a great opportunity to learn F&I and trade appraisals. For someone without car sales experience we are willing to train the right candidate.
