Ever wonder what’s actually happening underneath your RV slide-out? 👀

This rack-and-pinion system uses an electric actuator to move the slide, while the connecting rod and gears keep both sides moving evenly—helping prevent one side from getting ahead of the other.

A little regular maintenance goes a long way: keep the system clean, inspect for abnormal wear, and keep the rack-and-pinion components lightly lubricated when needed. 🔧
