We had 3 teams compete at County Fair! Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success, and congratulations to our shooters on a job well done!

This summer our own Salisbury FFA Member Willa Heddesheimer attended HyMAX. She was one of a 100 applicants out of 200 that had the opportunity to go! At Camp Rising Sun she learned leadership and communication skills and also got to focus on personal growth. Willa said “One of the best parts of the experience was meeting so many amazing people and making amazing friends that I hope to see in more FFA events. Overall, HyMAX was an unforgettable opportunity, and I would highly encourage others to apply if they have the chance. The skills, knowledge, and connections you gain make it truly worthwhile!” We are super proud that Willa capitalized on this amazing opportunity!!!

Little late post for WLC, but here it is!

Day 2: Students went to the nation’s capital and even got a tour inside the Capitol! They got there on D.C.'s Metro, that was really fun to ride. They finished the day with more sessions and games!

Day 3: Students got to work early doing their service project, packing oatmeal. Then they got the choice to go to Arlington or the Smithsonian museums. Then we all met up and went to the Holocaust Museum. They ended the night with sessions and a fun dance party!

Students had a great time seeing our nation’s capital city and learning new leadership skills that they are eager to bring back to the Salisbury community. Thank you to everyone that made it possible for our students to experience this wonderful opportunity!

We are headed off to Kansas City for the day! We fly out bright and early tomorrow morning. We are excited for D.C. !!!
