Nine people just changed their trajectory — and the Shore's workforce pipeline got stronger.

Congratulations to Wor-Wic's latest Construction Academy graduates: Andre Andrews Jr., Alberto Batista, Samantha Faulhaber, Richy Florestal, Bertha Fuentes, Juan Fuentes, Benjamin Herrmann, Jere Johnson, and Patrick Montina. Nine new professionals ready to build something real.

This is exactly what Building Momentum exists for — pointing people toward what's actually solving the skilled labor gap, not just talking about it. Under Dr. Rhonda W. Banks' leadership, Wor Wic Community College CEWD program is turning "we need workers" into workers.

The door's still open. A new four-week Construction Academy runs Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–noon, August 10–September 4 — free, thanks to the Maryland Department of Labor, for anyone ready to step directly into construction or carpentry after graduation.
