Congratulations, Milton, you're a one-in-a-lifetime kinda guy. We're proud to know you.
Congratulations and thank you for your service!
Today, we celebrate the career of Master Police Officer Milton Rodriguez, who retires today after nearly three decades of serving the citizens of Salisbury. "Milt" began his law enforcement career with the City of Salisbury, Maryland Police Department in July of 1996.
During his time with SPD, MPO Rodriguez has faithfully served in many roles including patrol officer, detective in the Criminal Investigation Division, COPP officer, and as a task force officer in the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF). MPO Rodriguez's most recent assignment found him mentoring our brand new police recruits in our Community Affairs and Recruitment Department. Throughout the course of his career, MPO Rodriguez has been recognized for his outstanding work and received the Silver Star Award, Chief's Award, Maryland State Police Superintendent's Award, Meritorious Service Award, Community Policing Award, numerous Exceptional Duty awards- just to name a few.
MPO Rodriguez's commitment, tenacity, and work ethic are only outshined by his charismatic personality and huge smile. Those of us here at SPD will miss seeing "Milt" every day, but we wish him a long, happy, and healthy retirement as he embarks on a new journey with his wife and family.
Milt, thank you for your steadfast dedication to the City of Salisbury and the tireless friendship you shared with so many of us over the years. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement!
