Called in by an another local towing company to assist with this recovery of a loaded truck and trailer. The front of the trailer was compromised so we opted to lift and bring it to the road. Once on the road way the trailer was offloaded into another re**er.

Received a call to respond to partially burned 4 axle truck loaded with sawdust. Immediately responded with our 44k capacity dolly, 50 ton rotator, 2nd heavy and a rollback/skid steer and roll off can to clean what had spilled.

🚨 Loaded Semi vs. Train Recovery 🚨

We were called by a customer for an immediate response to a loaded semi vs. train accident. Initial reports advised the trailer was on its side and still fully loaded.

We dispatched our 50-ton rotator and 35-ton heavy wrecker, and due to the condition of the trailer, rerouted one of our slide axle trailers in case Iwas needed to transport the trailer.

Once on scene, we performed a full damage assessment and developed a recovery plan. The trailer was split in multiple areas, so the biggest challenge was getting it upright without it busting open and losing the load.

After receiving clearance from the train company, we got to work:

🔹 Positioned both wreckers strategically for a controlled lift
🔹 Rigged two heavy-duty straps under the load to support the weight and damaged walls
🔹 Placed the 35-ton on the low side for stabilization
🔹 Chained both axles to the frame to prevent them from being pulled free
🔹 Ran both winches to the top to pull down and remove the twist as the rotator lifted
🔹 Carefully winched the rear of the trailer back onto level ground

The tailgate was secured and placed back into the trailer. Despite the damage, the unit was still driveable. The decision was made to carefully drive it back with our team escorting to ensure it made it safely.
