Mother Nature tried but we told her “Not today!”

The Salina Speedway is set for a HUGE night of racing, with all 6 weekly divisions ready to battle it out!

Tonight’s main event pays $1,000 to the winner of the Mel Hambelton Ford IMCA Modified first place finisher!

They’ll be joined by all of our amazing drivers in the Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, Big Corner Creative IMCA SportMods, Busch Light IMCA Hobby Stocks, Bird Contracting IMCA Sport Compacts, and Central Siding Crown Vic Nation!

And to top it off Fast Freddy’s Turn 1 Cafe is serving up the best CHICKEN SANDWICHES this side of the Mississippi on special tonight!

This Saturday night’s focus will be on the Mel Hambelton Ford IMCA Modified division as they battle it out for a $1,000 pay day!

Our other 5 weekly divisions will be in action also, with points races tightening up! Only 4 more points scoring events are left this season!

Update time, track is looking very good this week. We go bamboozled last week with a 2" soaking rain on Thursday morning after we watered Wednesday night. It wasn't forcasted so we did our best to dry it and pack it and the drivers did their best to put on a show. 1000 to win Modifieds this week. Remember the big bike giveaway is August 29th. You can bring bikes by the track anytime on or before then.

We’ve made it to one of our long running events, the 19th Annual Barry Brittendall Memorial Race. Tonight we race in memory of Barry! And thanks to Dirt Track Ju**ie and a purse boost the Bird Contracting IMCA Sport Compacts will be racing for $500 to win with an increased purse throughout the top 10!

And if that’s not enough each feature winner tonight will take home an extra $50, courtesy of Hot Rod Chicken & Just Good Old Racing Photos!
