Remember folks you can’t use cheap air filters in these late model trucks and roll through a quick lane l**e for a convenience, this will cost you big time!
When using the incorrect air filter with glued pleats on the bottom of the air filter causes incorrect sensor readings (and air flows) , affecting the trucks regeneration process and resulting in to many regenerations back to back breaking down these very expensive diesel particulate filters ranging in the $6,000 land, and damaging the rest of the filter system.
Stop using shops that grab what is co convenient over the counter at the local parts store. Trust in guys like ourselves to know what product needs used to save you a costly repair just like this one!
