There’s been a lot of talk about not needing inspection stickers come next week. We wanted to let you all know the state has reversed the ruling until a federal court approves.
This means you’re still required to get your inspection after January 31st.
UPDATE:
For some who commented negatively to this post, to clarify, it was intended to notify our communities of the legal ruling that was issued.
It was also an opportunity to educate and partner in the endeavor to keep vehicles safe for all NH roadways.
Yesterday, the Attorney General issued guidance for the law enforcement community as this legal battle continues. A grace period was established through April 10th, 2026 for inspection related violations.
We will follow that guidance until the State and Courts resolve the dispute.
Until then, for our vehicle owners, we trust you will follow all other safety laws as they are written and as a community partner, we will continue to do our part to keep our roadways safe.
Thank you!
‼️ BREAKING NEWS‼️
We know everyone was very excited for New Hampshire to get rid of the inspection requirements which was very evident from all the red 2025 stickers we have seen in the first thirty days of 2026. However,
🔵 INSPECTIONS ARE STILL REQUIRED🔵
Vehicle inspections in New Hampshire will continue for now after a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction preventing a law that would halt inspections from taking effect.
Yes, this means you must have an up to date inspection sticker displayed on your vehicle(s). Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions and share this with your friends and family.
