McFarland's Mechanics is looking for an outgoing individual to be our 3rd Service Advisor!

We are family owned and operated and have a nice shop in Salem, but offer mobile automotive service as well! We are Portland's largest mobile auto repair service provider, and are continuing to grow quickly! We need another energetic service advisor to handle the growing number of clients and staff.

Our shop works as a team, and we have a good time doing what we do.

Skills Necessary (Not mandatory, willing to train the right candidate)
- Automotive or Retail Management experience.
-Mitchell / AllData experience preferred (not mandatory)
- Superior ability to positively relate and communicate with customers, including outstanding telephone skills.
- Math skills are necessary for creation of estimates and billing.
- Must be a leader and able to challenge & motivate a service team to its highest level.
- Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a high level of energy.
- Must demonstrate a drive for results and possess an ownership mentality, as well as have the ability to successfully solve problems and make decisions.

Typical Duties include
- Develop a rapport with customers, both in-person and on-the-phone
- Collect customer information and input into database
- Review manufacturers recommendations with customers
- Review benefits and features of parts and services with customers
- Maintain customer service standards
- Maintain a high quality sales presentation

Just a quick update for 2023

We are no longer servicing ANY parts of WA state.

We are very thankful to have the continued support from all of you. We are very grateful
