This is the earlier part of the repair for the bad solenoid.

Pressure solenoid on a 2020 gm 10 speed. Circuit is open causing a hard downshift along with a check engine light. There is a tsb for this code and other issues. Valve body replacement is the repair. Gm says it's backordered til who knows when. I found the solenoids online. Replaced all of them. There may be other issues internally but the solenoid was the main problem here. Replaced solenoids, reassembled, programmed and all is good.

Ah yes. The terrible 3.5 L ford with internal water pump. This engine has been serviced regularly and I can tell by how clean it is. We usually replace all timing components when we do these water pumps. I'm still going to on this one but the wear on the guides and chains are minimal compared to some. I'll have this done in a day or two. Gotta get everything cleaned up and prepped for assembly. Comes with a 2 year 24k mile parts and labor warranty.
