***Autumn/Winter Driving Safety Tips!***
- Time to check your BATTERY, BRAKES, FLUIDS, HEADLIGHTS, TIRES and WINDSHIELD WIPERS.
- With WET ROADS comes higher safety risks, like hydroplaning. Please keep a further distance from the vehicle in front of you and take corners more slowly.
- If the tail end of your vehicle begins to SLIDE SIDEWAYS, turn the steering wheel the same direction. If the back end is sliding LEFT, turn the steering wheel to the left. If sliding to the RIGHT, turn wheel to the right.
- WET LEAVES can be extremely slippery - please, slow down when leaves are on the road. Keep an eye out for kids at play.
- Be mindful of increased WILDLIFE activity near roads.
- Do NOT use your high beams in the FOG.
- Is your car packed for emergencies? Try to keep a BLANKET, FIRST-AID KIT, FLARES, FLASHLIGHT with batteries, JUMPER CABLES, SNACKS and WATER.
