Shout Out to Officer Spencer of Salem Police Department. She took my call off duty and responded with compassion and genuine care for an elderly 91 year old Korean war veteran who was in need of services, coordinating with multiple agencies as the team leader, calling Meals on Wheels and the Veterans Administration. The world is a better place with people like Officer Spencer in it protecting the public.

One of our own, Paul Moreno Jr, was severely injured in a car accident a few weeks ago. He is paralyzed from the chest down and needs expensive modifications to his home to be able live there. Since Paul is a big fan of hockey we are raffling off 4 tickets donated by Paul's hockey team for the Bruins Canucks game December 20th.
