Alex Rivero has been our saving grace since this whole pandemic started. He is a St. Paul and Kenyon small business owner who unfortunately during this time had to temporarily close some businesses down. Alex not only has been here almost everyday to unload the many shipments and pallets of food off the delivery trucks but he has also recruited his staff to come volunteer as well when we need the extra help. What he stands for and the actions of him dedicating his time truly shows us how much we need to support small businesses. Small businesses are always the first to help those in need when sports teams needs donations for equipment or sponsorship. Even in the midst of our economy Alex and his small businesses Kenyon Bar and Grill, A & M Auto and Saint Paul Saloon are still giving back to the community any way they can. We are extremely proud that he makes the time to do what’s needed to be there for his community where he was born and raised. When I asked Alex what motivates him to volunteer, he stated, “My Mom has always taught me the importance of taking care of people and I want to honor her by doing what I know she would want me to be doing during this time and that’s taking care of people in need”. Thank you Alex for continuing to honor your Mother and making a true difference in the lives of others. We Salute you!
