We are looking for a professional, experienced tow truck driver who can step in and get to work immediately. This is not a training position.
What the job looks like:
Daytime hours include shop work (cleanup, organization, assisting as needed) when not on calls
After-hours & on-call towing
Independent roadside calls and recoveries
Customer-facing role — professionalism is a must
Pay Structure:
💲 Hourly pay (based on experience)
💲 After-hours tows paid as a percentage (typically ~30% per tow)
💲 Overtime opportunities available
Requirements (please do not apply if you do not meet these):
✔ Prior towing or commercial driving experience
✔ Valid MO Driver’s License (Class E or CDL preferred)
✔ Clean driving record
✔ 21+ (insurance requirement)
✔ Ability to pass background check and drug screen
✔ Reliable and able to work nights, weekends, and on-call

📍St. Joseph, MO
💵Pay: Based on experience
⏱️Full Time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with an hour lunch break.

Midwest Tow and Auto is a fast-paced auto repair and towing company serving the St. Joseph and surrounding areas. We take pride in reliable service, honest work, and keeping our customers safely on the road.

What you will do:
*Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles (domestic & foreign)
*Perform routine maintenance (oil change, brakes, tires, etc.)
*Handle engine diagnostics and basic electrical work
*Keep a clean and safe work environment

What we're looking for:
*Experience as an auto mechanic/technician
*Own tools (preferred)
*Valid driver's license
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Reliable and shows up ready to work

Bonus if you have:
*ASE certifications
*Experience with towing or roadside assistance
*Strong diagnostic skills
