Today, Aug. 30th, is our LAST DAY OF go-karting for 2026. We’re here till 8 tonight. Superkart and propane kart available for $25 with ID!!!! Or single kart $10, double kart $12, and kid’s karts always available, too. 🖤🏁

Remember, if you have any 2026 free race cards left, you can use them for mini golf at Joe Town Mini Golf or Cool Crest, or for equivalent value in attractions at Ricky Dean’s. 💌

*Side-note*: Our power was restored Monday. Can’t wait to see you guys for our last weekend of 2026:

Sun 12-8pm

And you can the Super Kart or Propane Kart testers — $25 for a 4.5 run. Must be 21+ and show valid ID. No bumping allowed. 🏁

We had a great night last night with some Super Kart racing!!! We got in at 4pm to open today to a power outage. We called Evergy to report it right away. But they told us they don’t have any history of us having any accounts and they cannot even find Joe Town Speedway or our address on their records. Now their recording says we will have to call back on Monday because they are closed. Calling shows they can’t do anything to help us from 5pm Friday until 8am Monday.

If anyone has a way of getting in touch with Evergy, or getting through to someone another way, please send us a message.

And for now, we have to be closed tonight, and possibly all weekend. We thought about using generators, but we don’t think it would be enough power.

We were going to have free race cards work from August 31-October 31, but because of this, you can use at JTMG, CC, or RDs, them starting tonight, August 21. I am notifying all of our staff now. Joe Town Speedway gift cards can be accepted at JTMG or CC, but the system and RDs is not compatible.

Our last day for 2026 will be Sunday, August 30. For these last two weekends, we welcome all ages like always — but with a new ticket option available for ages 25 and older (must show ID).

You can now purchase a ticket to specifically race our tester SuperKart and/or Propane cart for 4.5 minutes — for $25 plus tax

The get up and go they have is what many of you racers want, and we would love to hear your feedback on them!

If you do not use your 2026 free race passes by August 30, they’ll also be accepted from August 31 through October 31, 2026, for mini golf or an attraction at Joe Town Mini Golf, Cool Crest Garden Golf, & Ricky Dean’s. ⛳️ Their Fall Hours will start August 24th. We will share those hours here and have all of these details on our fence, too.

Tonight is our last Kid’s Kart Night for 2026!! No experience needed. Ages 3-9 (or 10 if under 100 lbs). 🏁

5-7pm

The goal is not necessarily being competitive. It’s that each child has fun and leaves proud of themselves.

Don’t forget: Our kid’s karts are always here and can always be raced during our open hours! So even though it’s the last designated kid’s night, you can always still bring your little ones to race. 🖤

Attention: July 4th thrill and entertainment seekers, please read below‼️🇺🇸

Speedway will be closed July 4th, but you can catch mini golf at Cool Crest Garden Golf from 10a-4p. Speedway will reopen for normal Sunday hours 12-8p on July 5.

And you’re welcome to watch city fireworks from the Ricky Dean’s parking lot, or go support the St. Joseph Mustangs by catching an amazing game with post-game fireworks there!! ⚾️

For family entertainment on July 4th, Cool Crest Garden Golf will be open from 10a-4p! ⛳️

Cup of Joe Coffee next-door will be open 6a-4p!! ☕️

Ricky Dean’s - St. Joseph, MO, Joe Town Speedway, and Joe Town Mini Golf will all be closed July 4, but will reopen at their normal noon Sunday time for July 5th!

We do invite you to watch the city fireworks from our parking lot (please clean up trash before you go). This photo being shared was from a customer last July 4th, from our parking lot!! 🎆

Another incredible and affordable outing tomorrow evening, complete with post-game fireworks, is the St. Joseph Mustangs game!! ⚾️ 🧨
