We get asked all the time:

“Can you tint my windows for $100? The place on the Belt Highway does mine...”

And literally two years later, those same windows are turning purple, bubbling, peeling, or the film simply isn’t performing the way they thought it would.

We’ve been around window tint and automotive films year in and year out. We go to the SEMA Show, meet with manufacturers, look at new technology, compare different films, and continue learning what’s actually available and what really performs.

Unlike a lot of shops, we’re constantly trying to improve.
Not because we need to sell you the newest or most expensive thing—but because we only want to provide our customers with products and services we can be proud of, and you can be proud of too.

Our reviews, referrals, and repeat customers are a huge reason we’ve been able to continue doing what we do, and we only have you to thank for that.

That’s why we wanted to take some time to explain our different window tint options and give you some independent information so you can better understand what you’re actually paying for and why.

Because all window tint is not created equal.

Different films do different things.

One film may be designed primarily for appearance and privacy. Another may offer better heat rejection. Another may use higher-end ceramic technology to dramatically improve infrared heat rejection, clarity, UV protection, and overall comfort.

And darker tint does not automatically mean better heat rejection.
That’s why we think it’s extremely important to actually fact-check the claims being made about the film going on your vehicle.

Ask questions.
Ask what film is being installed.
Ask what its actual specifications are.

And most importantly, have someone demonstrate it.
We have no problem putting a meter on our films and showing you what they actually do.

Because the truth is, marketing can make almost anything sound incredible. Numbers get thrown around, products get misrepresented, and sometimes businesses will tell people whatever they need to hear to make the sale.
