Are you sick of busting your butt in a HOT and HUMID and DIRTY welding shop? Standing uncomfortably in awkward positions while sweat drips off your di*********es? Breathing in nasty smoke filled toxic air that will slowly lead to your death?

Our welding shop is AIR CONDITIONED and stays comfortable all year round. You can sit down at a nice welding station in a comfortable chair with state of the art ventilation while you weld. And we offer paid breaks twice a day plus paid holidays.

P*K Manufacturing is looking for a full-time welder & fabricator for our Saint Joseph manufacturing facility. Hours are M-F 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Weld production & custom parts using standard Miller Mig Welders

• Use of other tools such as angle grinders, saws, etc

• Close monitoring of tolerances and production quality

P*K manufactures a wide range of production and custom automotive suspension parts. A good candidate for this position would have a basic background in welding and fabrication.

A typical day includes using tools like welders, grinders, saws, press brake, lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines. Note: you are not required to know all these machines, we are willing to train on using any equipment you are not familiar with.

A unique aspect of our fabrication shop is that we make a wide variety of products including some custom products that are built to spec. This ensures you are not building the same product for weeks at a time.

Requirements:

• Mild steel MIG welding skills

• Able to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion

• Good work ethic

• Good physical condition

• Understanding proper use of a tape measure & dial caliper

• Understanding of tolerances/precision work

• Automotive parts knowledge or experience a plus (not required)

• Experience with different fabrication equipment a plus (not required)

Equipment:

• Standard Miller MIG Welders with easy to set controls

• State of the art air filtration equipment keeps the air you breathe ultra clean

• Our shop is well lit, clean and organized. Every operation has dust collection

• Our facility is air conditioned and 70 degrees all year

• The majority of your shift you can weld comfortably sitting down at a table

• Provide support to customers before the sale

• Take orders over the phone

• Provide customers with shipping & tracking info

We are looking for full-time shipping & receiving help in our Saint Joseph warehouse. The position offers flexible hours and time off when needed.

Position responsibilities:

• Assist in packaging of products

• Operation of various machines in the packaging process

• Various other general labor tasks

• Occasionally answering phone calls

• No experience required

We are looking to fill a full-time position. Your responsibilities would be printing order tickets as they come in, pulling the products from the warehouse, and packaging them for shipment. Other responsibilities include receiving products, packaging assemblies for products, occasionally answering phone calls, and some cleaning/organizing of the work area.

We are a small business. Our facility is large compared to how many people work in it. You will have plenty of space around your welding station. We also offer KN95 masks, gloves, sanitizer and hand washing stations if you would like to use them.

P*K Manufacturing is looking for part time general help in our Saint Joseph manufacturing facility. The position offers flexible hours and time off when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Weld production parts using standard Miller Mig Welders

• Use of other tools such as angle grinders, saws, etc

• Minimal welding experience required

We are willing to work with a flexible schedule. Work can be scheduled most week days from 9am to 7pm. We would prefer a candidate who wants to work between 20 and 35 hours per week.

This would make a great part time job to earn extra money. We are willing to work with students & individuals who are looking for a part time summer job. Also willing to work with anyone who is looking for longer term employment.

Requirements:

• Some MIG welding skills preferred

• Able to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion

The welding process is fairly simple on our parts. If you only have minimal welding experience (example: you took welding classes in high school), you are still encouraged to apply. We will teach you on simple low cost parts and eventually train you on more complex welding techniques.
