Meet Taylor “GhostKing” Haynes, driver of the #127, representing Scappoose, Oregon
Taylor Haynes is brand new to the racing scene, making 2026 his very first season behind the wheel at River City Speedway. Even as a rookie, he’s already bringing determination, personality, and plenty of drive to the track.
How did you get started in racing:
Taylor is in his first year of dirt track racing, inspired to get behind the wheel by Ryan Potter.
Track nickname:
“The GhostKing” — a nickname that comes from his longtime gamertag and has now followed him onto the dirt oval.

Tracer Class
Describe your car:
A 1999 black and silver Dodge Neon — clean, simple, and ready to learn the ropes.
Favorite part about racing a quarter-mile dirt oval:
Learning something new every single time he hits the track and getting the chance to race alongside his brother.
Pre-race ritual:
Going over the entire car with his dad to make sure everything is dialed in and race ready.
🏆 Proudest racing moment so far:
Being able to challenge his brother on the track — a milestone every new racer remembers.
🎯 Biggest goal this season:
To win. Simple, direct, and exactly the mindset you want from a hungry new racer.
