Food for thought of the week… Does you Motorcycle seem low on power or cutting out and dying randomly, the ethanol in the fuel makes the fuel lines brittle, making small cracks or pin holes in them and eats the fuel pump sock filter on the bottom and sucking it into the pump eventually ruining the fuel pump, we have at least one motorcycle a week that has fuel pump problems…if your going to let your motorcycle sit for awhile make sure it is completely full of fuel and have an ethanol additive in it and don’t start it every week cause you think it’s good to circulate oil and warm it up, warming it up crates condensation in the top of the fuel tank from the heat of the engine and runs down into the fuel, condensation (water) extracts ethanol from fuel and straight ethanol eats rubber and plastic and compromises the parts inside your tank…it’s better to let your motorcycle sit with a battery tender until your ready to ride it for al least a half hour or longer so the condensation will evaporate….
