🌟 Business Spotlight: Kate Bakes Bakery & Bittersweet Homestead Boutique 🌟

This week, we're highlighting TWO amazing small businesses located right in downtown Amery! 🛍️🍪

🍞 Kate Bakes Bakery is a small-town microbakery located right in front of Bittersweet Homestead Boutique. Kate started baking at just 17 years old, selling cookies, muffins, and sweet breads at the local farmers market. Over the past two years, her passion has grown into what Kate Bakes is today!

She now specializes in sourdough breads, cinnamon rolls, scones, cookies, and other seasonal treats. 🤤 You can find her at the bakery stand on Fridays from 9 AM–1 PM and at the Amery Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9 AM–1 PM.

And take it from us—the sourdough salted caramel pretzel cookies are THE BEST!🍪🙌

🛍️ Bittersweet Homestead Boutique was purchased by Kim Castagnetta in April 2024 and is filled with unique finds for just about anyone! The boutique is a collaboration of talented vendors who bring together a variety of handcrafted and one-of-a-kind items. It's the perfect place to shop local and find something you won't see everywhere else.

🌟 Fun Fact Sunday is looking a little different today! 🌟

This week, we’re switching things up and getting to know the people behind the scenes at Johnson Motors! First up: our General Manager, Brad Johnson.

Brad has been in the auto industry for 13 years, with 11 of those years at Johnson Motors. Over the years, he’s worked as a Service Manager, Finance Manager, Sales Manager, and now General Manager. Basically, he’s worked almost every job in the dealership!

Brad has been married to his amazing wife since 1998-which means she deserves some serious recognition-he spends a lot of hours at the dealership! They have two sons, Brady and Paul, who definitely keep him young at heart.

✈️ Brad loves to travel and has been to Africa 13 times! Yes, you read that right… 13 TIMES!

⛳ On his days off, you’ll usually find him on the golf course with his kids—probably claiming that *this* will finally be the round where he fixes his swing.

We’re lucky to have Brad leading the team here at Johnson Motors!
