The mod list was already serious. Now the dyno sheet is, too. 🔥

This 2023 BMW X4M came to EP3 Motorsports already built, with tuning next on the list. With Bend Calibration handling the tune, the result was mid-700 WHP and just over 700 lb-ft of torque.

Your next power goal needs a plan for every drop. ⛽️

We’ve covered getting fuel from the tank through the pump, filter, and lines. Now we’re highlighting the injectors that meter supplemental fuel into the intake ports.

Developed with Bosch Motorsport, the ID1300-XDS offers:

▪️ High-flow capability for increased fuel demand
▪️ Stainless internals designed to resist corrosion from alcohol fuels
▪️ Compatibility with gasoline and ethanol
▪️ Precise delivery across varying fuel demands

For an S58 build chasing 850+ WHP, supplemental port injection belongs in the fueling conversation when direct injection can no longer meet demand. The right injector size depends on your ethanol content, fuel pressure, and how much supplemental fuel the engine needs.

These work alongside your factory direct injectors as part of a compatible port-injection system, with the appropriate rail, fuel supply, controller, and calibration.

Your power goals start in the tank. ⛽️

Your low-pressure fuel pump supplies fuel from the tank to the engine’s fueling system. As power and ethanol content increase, so does the volume of fuel your setup needs.

PFS packages its custom brushless pump in a modified OEM bucket, delivering:

▪️ PFS-rated support for 800+ WHP on E85–E98
▪️ Drop-in installation with factory ECU control
▪️ No additional pump, wiring harness, or controller required

When should you consider it? When your next upgrades will exceed the stock pump’s capacity, or fuel-pressure data shows the low-pressure supply can’t keep up under load. The right time depends on your fuel and complete setup, not a single horsepower number.

For G8X S58 owners, this adds capacity at the beginning of the fuel system. Lines, injectors, and calibration still need to match the goal.

This customer’s G80 M3 came through EP3 Motorsports for AST adjustable lowering springs and an alignment to bring the setup together.

Adjustable ride height lets us refine the stance around the wheels, while the kit retains the factory Adaptive M dampers and electronic damping control. Optimized front and rear spring rates are designed to improve driving dynamics, too.

We recently installed three NRW Design upgrades on this customer’s S65 at EP3 Motorsports, addressing aging components with long-term ownership in mind:

▪️ VANOS covers — Bolt-on 4130 chromoly covers replace the factory plastic caps, addressing their tendency to deteriorate over time.

▪️ Aluminum valve covers — Fresh housings that retain factory component compatibility, finished in red for an engine bay that looks as cared for as it is.

▪️ Billet spark plug tubes — Reusable aluminum tubes with replaceable Viton seals, designed for improved sealing and easier future servicing.

With the valve covers off, it’s also a chance to give the surrounding components attention. That’s the approach we bring to BMW maintenance at EP3: helping owners understand what we're replacing and why it matters.

As the season comes to a close. It's never too early to start thinking about preventative maintenance. This F87 M2 Comp is a true track day warrior. That means it rarely sees public roads, let alone daily use. This is where prevention comes in.

850+ WHP on the wish list? Let’s talk about what feeds it. ⛽️

We’re breaking down S58 fueling upgrades for G8X owners looking to take the next step in power. First up: two supporting pieces from Bend Calibration, available here at EP3 Motorsports.

🔹 G8X Fuel Filter Kit
Adds a serviceable Injector Dynamics F1250 filter to help protect your direct injectors from particulate contamination. Compatible with gasoline and ethanol blends, it installs with vehicle-specific mounting and quick-connect fittings—no cutting factory fuel lines.

🔹 G8X Port Injection Fuel Line Kit
Provides fuel lines, rail fittings, and a Continental ethanol-content sensor for a compatible port-injection setup. Injectors, controller, and tuning are separate parts of the build.

Your fuel choice and power target determine the rest. Bend recommends larger fuel-system plumbing beyond roughly 900 WHP on E85, potentially sooner depending on pump capacity.
