When Pigs Fly 〰️ We had Matt back on board with all 3 of his boys for an end of summer trip before school and the day did not disappoint. The first trout in the boat was a 23" pig, which set the tone for the day. 8 of the first 14 trout were over 20" so we had to move around a little for some smaller ones, but it worked out as we finished off a 4 man limit and got back in before the heat could get us. Epic Day!

Just how we drew it up 〰️ Our good friends at Basin Engineering laid out the red carpet for their clients with an on site Chef at the I'm On Vacation Pelican Perch Lodge followed by a morning of nonstop fish action. Thanks to Captain's Mike, Mike, and Danny for the assist with this one.

The Family Social Chair 〰️ I think it's fair to award with the Uncle of the year award 🏆after having his siblings and their kids down to stay with us at the Pelican Perch Lodge for a weekend of fishing. Steven was my BIG brother in our college fraternity so technically we're all family and it was only fair that I was part of the reunion 😁

Hammer Time 〰️ I had my good buddy, Stephen Villavaso ' s family (he couldn't make it, but made the hook up 😁) out for some trout fishing. We made the run and got on some hammers!

We caught some nice Spanish mackerel that we threw back and several sharks decided to crash the party as well. (Scroll to last pic for shark🦈😮‍💨)

My Friendliest Friend 〰️ I was so honored when my old high-school friend reached out to see if I could take her, along with her brother, nephew, and her 2 boys out for a day of Fishing. It was the youngest one's (5) first trip so we were hoping to make it a memorable one and boy did we. These boys crushed it with every cast landing a fish. 🧨🎆🐟

But back to Emma. I was describing her to Margaret as one of the nicest people I knew and dawned on me afterwards that she and I were voted class "friendliest" our senior yr of high school. (Scroll to the last pic for proof 😅) We remind our kids to be kind in everything they do, and Emma is full proof that it will be remembered 20 yrs later 😄.

Refining the Moment 〰️ We had a blast fishing 🎣 with Struc'tur'al and their customers for the PBF Chalmette Refinery Rodeo this past weekend. The weather forecast looked bleak, but the guys were all in and we made it happen. 🙌 Even took home some hardware. 🏆
Thanks to Captain Deltoro for running the 2nd boat for us.
