Wonderful news for now!

🚨 All work on Rosewood Exuma has stopped (for now)!

Yntegra volunteered to temporarily stop work on its Sampson Cay project, just hours before a court hearing where a judge was set to consider an injunction halting ALL development activities on the cay. A partial injunction is already in place, temporarily preventing any dredging in North Bay.

This is a major moment for protecting Sampson Cay and Exuma. The new stoppage should prevent Yntegra from carrying out any work on the island until further hearings later this month, but by taking this action, they’ve avoided the court considering another injunction.

The injunction application was prompted by weeks of continued activity on Sampson Cay, captured in photos and videos appearing to show runoff escaping a turbidity curtain, the bulldozing of native trees, and the installation of structures on the island, along with public concerns about whether this activity complied with existing legal and regulatory restraints.

We believe this happened because all of you refuse to look away. Every share, every signature, every email builds the pressure that makes these things impossible to ignore. Don’t stop now!
