😮 Photoshoot for the Willys 😍

This unreal 1941 Willys Coupe was in front of the camera, and this thing is pure custom car craftsmanship from top to bottom.

Owned, designed, and built by Kjell Schreyvogel, this Willys is packed with detail. The Bowtie 496 was built by Borello Racing Engines, the TH400 transmission was handled by Jake's Performance, and the billet hardware was designed, machined, and polished by Kjell himself.

Big Kid Blocks helped get this baby laser straight, and all of the paint and bodywork was handled by Jay at Paint by Jay / Auto Artistry. Jay also built the hood from scratch, because you don’t exactly find an off-the-shelf Willys hood with room for a supercharger poking through it.

The custom blue finish was created using PPG paint, and the result is the kind of deep, glassy finish that makes this car look like it belongs under the lights.

Underneath, the Willys was protected with Body-liner for added durability and sound dampening, making this build just as serious below the surface as it is on top.

A beautiful build, an incredible finish, and the kind of detail that deserves a closer look.

Sacramento Autorama brought out some serious custom car energy, and Auto Artistry was proud to have a few standout builds in the mix. 🔥

From the lifted Bronco to the 1949 Chevy “Orange Dream,” these rides are the kind of builds that stop people in their tracks. Big colour, big detail, and the kind of workmanship that only happens when the right builders, painters, and partners all come together.

🏁 FROM START TO FINISH 🏁

This 1977 Bronco came to us as a shell, and from there we brought the whole vision to life.

At Auto Artistry, this is the kind of work we love most. Not just paint, but the full process of taking a build from the ground up and seeing it all the way through to the final reveal.

For this Bronco, we handled basically everything:
✅ bodywork
✅ panel alignment
✅ Body-liner paint
✅ liner
✅ final assembly
✅ interior assembly
✅ stereo
✅ finishing details
✅ SEMA prep

Under the hood, this build packs a Gen 3 Coyote, 10-speed, and twin stick Atlas. It was built with help from a couple of good friends, and the end result officially made its way to the TIS Wheels booth at SEMA 2025.

What makes this one even more special is the story behind it.

The owner, Corey Smith, has owned this Bronco for 40 years. He got it when he was 26, and now at 64, he’s still got it. It originally wore these same colors, so instead of changing its identity, we brought them back with a modern twist.

That is what this build is all about.

A classic Bronco with history.

OBS Ford fully coated in Body-Liner for DmaxRyno at SEMA

This build was an awesome one to be part of. We had the opportunity to completely coat DmaxRyno’s OBS Ford using Body-Liner products, giving the truck a finish that looks incredible but is built for real protection.

This isn’t traditional paint, and it’s not your average liner. Body-Liner gives this truck a smooth, high-gloss finish with serious durability, chemical resistance, UV protection, and a surface that is much easier to wash and maintain.

From prep to final finish, this was a full transformation, and seeing the truck make its way to The SEMA Show in the AlphaRex booth made the whole project even better.

Huge thanks to DmaxRyno for trusting us with the coating work on this build, and to Body-Liner for supplying a product system that lets us create something this tough while still keeping a clean, show-quality finish.

𝐀 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞, 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.

This 1969 Chevelle has been in .dolphin84’s (IG) family since he was in 6th grade, getting dropped off at school in it many years ago. Now, after a full bare-metal restoration done the right way, it’s back and better than ever.

Blocked and primed 3 times with Big Kid Blocks, laid out in a custom blue with dark black metallic stripes and factory-inspired logos in the paint, then finished off with LumaBase paint and LV 4000 clear from Wesco.

To top it off, this build now packs a full LS with a supercharger.

From memories to metal work to final shine, this one was a special one.

Color match changes everything. 👊

A clean color match can completely change the look of a truck.

Grilles, bumpers, trim, mirror caps, valances, fender pieces, and all the little details people overlook are often what make a build feel finished.

These 2 trucks are a perfect example. Different styles, same result:

This 1967 Camaro RS is the kind of build that deserves a full feature.

Paint and body by Auto Artistry | Paint by Jay, with the body cleaned up the right way featuring shaved door handles, shaved reverse lights, shaved trunk key hole, shaved fuel cap relocated behind the licence plate, tucked and shaved bumpers, functional heated Mustang mirrors, plus front and rear cameras.

🏆 TOOK 2ND PLACE IN THE HOODMASTERS PINSTRIPE CATEGORY! 🤟

This hood was built for the 2024 Hoodmasters competition by LKQ Corporation / LKQ Refinish in the USA, and it brought home 2nd place in the pinstripe category.

This piece was all about detail, depth, and impact. Sharp linework, layered graphics, heavy texture, bold colour, and UV reactive paint that makes it come alive under black light. In natural light it hits hard, but under UV it becomes a whole different piece.

For this one I used Tropical Glitz and Painthuffer for the flake, pearls, and candy, then cleared it with Body-liner Flex Clear. One thing I really like is that Body-Liner works as a great flake carrier because it helps keep everything suspended & protected this piece.

A lot of time, creativity, and precision went into this one, and I’m proud of how it turned out.
