This wouldn’t be a TPD day without work banter. Probably our favorite thing to do here at the shop. Subtle jabs at each other make the day go quicker and the endorphines peak. Love your crew and you never work a day in your life.

This is a frequently asked question for people that have recently picked up a used TPD. This is generally the first thing I recommend to get a trailer up and more modern look and honestly this is helps mitigate the problems of old Bulb lights corroding or even grounds breaking. This is my first recommendation on any newly acquired old TPD.

It was nice to have these 2 trailers next to each other. This was both old pan lights but one with the old incandescent quartz lights and an LED pan lights. I also wanted to show in the same video where you can see the size profile difference to the new surface mounted LED lights.

This is Rays little trailer he wanted us to modify to make it work for him. It’s quite a unique look it’s just needs some TLC. We will take it far enough to then allow him to repaint surfaces and have more or less a newer looking trailer. Sorry it took so long Ray to start but we are moving on it.

Here is Ethan’s 5th wheel trailer he is having us get to a more modern level from lighting on down to and doing some maintenance to the trailer. The oroginal owner ended up doing his own cabinetry and front living quarters which is pretty unique. Stay along for this build to see the end result of Ethan’s older trailer.

Roof vents have never been something I of quality. I know a lot of them are just cheaply made. The light roof vents bring on a trailer is awesome but the outer shell gets brittle from weather. I wish they made a Maxx air vent cover quality plastic for the main part of a roof vent. Maybe they do and I missed out? Let me know what quality vent you have used in the past.

This is one thing I don’t think people take into account when dropping off a trailer is how long it takes to move a trailer into the shop and then out of the shop. Given our outer gates around or shop is the primary problem. So if you do end up calling to pick up your trailer give us sometime to move them out without damaging your trailer. Just some behind the scenes here at the shop.

This I feel is a highly under utilized part of our trailers which involves dry erase markers. This is something you can do on any TPD variant that we currently make. It doesn’t seem completely useful until you work out of it. People that like to be organized and you can keep it that way by writing where things should be directly on the wall or cabinet.

Here is another progress video on our mobile chop saw cart. In a large shop like ours we move our stuff to wherever we can fit a trailer. Having a moveable cart like this makes us way more efficient when cutting trim. Better to have this just outside of the door of the trailer than to walk all around the shop for a single cut. Just some small stuff we have learned over the years.
