As part of the Subaru Loves to Care campaign, Patriot Subaru is proud to have donated 80 cozy blankets to Northern Light Mercy Hospital's Cancer Care Center, bringing warmth and comfort to patients during treatment.
However, the giving didn't stop there! In an effort to collect as many Messages of Hope as possible, Patriot's Community Coordinator Dakota McGuire teamed up with Sarah Kelley, Social Worker for NLMH, at the Beyond the Ribbon event - a beautiful National Cancer Survivors' Day celebration. Together, they gathered heartfelt messages of encouragement from survivors and their families, reminders that hope and support make all the difference.
To wrap things up, the Patriot Subaru team met with the Mercy team in person to deliver the boxes of blankets straight to the cancer center, perfectly timed for A/C season, when a little extra warmth is always welcome! ❄️➡️☀️
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. At Patriot Subaru, we're honored to support our community and share a little hope, one blanket at a time.
Special thank you to Matt Kennedy, Campaign Development Manager, Blood Cancer United, Sarah Kelley, Social Worker NLMH, Dawn McFarlane, Practice Manager NLMH, and Patriot's Ant Richards, Kaitlyn Wade, Sean Lloyd, Dakota McGuire, Rel D'Haiti, Lauren Fite, Brian Vachon, and Jacob Fish.
